  1. Disconnect everything else from the receiver and then try binding. Two of my rx's would also not bind with servos plugged in, those servos would draw power from the rx, preventing the rx from binding.
  2. Small Crocodile clip on my Zlin's OS 120 Surpass. Works very well but the teeth do need to be kept clean.
  3. He he he....It's certainly no speedboat....It can go rest on the bookshelf now.
  4. My latest project completed. Built on and off over the last few months, almost entirely out of whatever was at hand. R/c function are rudder, with the motor a simple on/off contact. Motive power is a small single LiFe cell. The plan was found on Aero Fred. The magazine article is in Czechoslovakian, so I had some fun with Google Translate but it's not too difficult to figure the plans out. Our winter rains have started, which causes a little pond to fill at our flying field ,hence I built something different... A short build video posted in the vintage section.
  5. A few pics put together from my latest build. Built from an old plan found on Aero Fred. Boat Build_x264.mp4 Boat Build_x264.mp4
  6. Great news. I'm patiently awaiting the FW release for these rx's...
  7. After 8 years and 847 logged flights, my trusty .75-.91 Seagull Zlin's firewall finally came undone. Some fuel damage was also inevitable. I laminated up a slightly thicker firewall, to give more gluing area. The triangle supports were also made from laminated ply. (Not having any other hard wood strips at hand). Having during it's life added flaps, repaired a snapped fuselage and beefed up the undercarriage plate, this plane is now getting a little heavy. But she's not quite ready to be retired yet.... Here's the pictures. Zlin Firewall.mp4
  8. Cape Radio Flyers, Cape Town, South Africa. If you look carefully, you'll see Table Mountain in the background.
  9. Rebuilt and flying well. Might become a favorite... Bipe Funx264.mp4
  10. Rebuilt this 'rescue puppy. 52 inch span, powered by an OS 55 Ax. Lots of work but the result makes it worth it. l t this 52 inch 'rescue
  11. Followed by the fuselage work... Bipe Rebuild, Fuz x264.mp4
  12. This sad looking biplane was left in our clubhouse as a 'give away. Having nothing on the bench at the time, I took it under my wing... We aren't quite sure but we think that it is a Bucker Jungmeister from the mid 80's with a modified tail / rudder. 52 inch span and powered by an OS 55AX2 and 12x6 prop, it flies quite well. \ Not having built a bipe before, my biggest concern was calculating the correct CG. I'm glad so say that, after all the research and calculating , it was spot on. First up, the wing...... Bipe Rebuild, Wings_x264.mp4
