As a teetotaller but not an angel I can see no use for what is being suggested. I can swear with the best of them if I feel that way inclined. However not on here. Should anyone want this sort of thing, either look for it or contact r6dan for directions. Should this appear on this forum, I for one would straight away leave and not return until such time as it was brought back to how it is run now Garry

As they used to say in National Service "Get some in" I am going into my 76 th year and go flying at least twice a week, more if I can waangle it (married). I have a 30 yr old mind driving a 75 yr old body , a very unequal struggle. You never forget how to fly Geoff, no matter how long you are away, so dont worry Garry

Re the diesel debate, do I remember rightly that there was a small government campain trying to get us to buy diesel cars. They were successful so they slammed up the fuel price, nothing has changed Garry

Welcome Tony to the best forum on the web bar none. 40 yrs away is a long time but dont worry the lads on here will put you right. Dont forget the only stupid question is the one you dont ask Make even better use of this forum by filling in a bit on your profile and activating the "message me" section, it can double your enjoyment and we then have an idea of who we are talking to and where in the country you are Garry

Knew there was some restriction but wasnt sure what it was. When I go to my LMS and he is out of stock of elec props he always says you shouldnt use anything but elec props on elec motors but when asked why the answer is "I dont know" very reassuring. I dont think he is an expert and would rather get my info here. Garry

Might be talking out of the back of my head as usual, but is it safe to put anything except and elec prop on an elec motor? I would be interested to know Garry

Must agree Steve. Thought I might provoke a reaction. I must be bored Garry

Takin a cell out and rewiring need care and what is more knowledge of what you are doing. I dont doubt you have the first, but reading your post not the second, so my advise would be to discharge and dispose of it correctly and purchace a new one. Its not worth the risk and you are not looking at a fortune Garry

When was your central heating system last looked at and serviced Stephen. If you have a radiator in each room then all rooms should be warm so long as the rad valves are open. I live in a park home which is 7 yrs old and if the heating is on full we cant bear it. Running it on the thermo setting 25 and sat in shirt sleeves. It is minus 6 outside Garry
