  1. I have just ordered a charger from Banggood for about £18 just as a spare,everything I v,e bought from them has been fine.
  2. Has anyone noticed that the price goes up a couple of pounds if you pay with paypal compared with using your credit or debit card?
  3. Iv,e been using 2 of these Lemon jobs for a year or more and found them great.
  4. Hi,Simon, I have borrowed a cool bag from SHMBO and I put in a 3cell Lipo which is not a very good now connected to a 5watt 12 volt car bulb, this keeps the Lipo,s nice and warm for a few hours,just be careful not to run the battery too low!

  6. My uncle built me a glider while he was in the navy in 1942 or 1943 and that got me going ,it was probably the smell of dope,been at it ever since with just a short break for some fishing.
  7. Forceps are very cheap on eBay and you can sometimes find them in markets.

Sometimes it,s a good idea to unplug everything and then replug ,it makes sure there is a good connection and that the plugs have not worked loose, I used to be a tv repairman and so often customers said their Rc handsets had failed but just take the batteries out and put them back in and very often all would be well.
  9. It all depends on conditions but with 2200ma Lipo 30 minutes is easy and if your eyesight is,nt too good that will probably be ample, I know it is for me!

  12. Why not try something simple for a start like the SLEC Limbo Dancer ,most of the parts are laser cut and they are British made,and good fun to fly ,pun intended!

  17. I,he been using PVA from Poundland and it seems as good as any.
  18. PVA from Poundland and epoxy from Tool Station seems as good as any!
  19. If I remember correctly, the company had taken over giantcod but now seem to have disapeared.
  20. Iv,s found the Flyfly model I have is not bad but spares seem like hens teeth and the importers just don,t want to know!
  21. I use my sealing iron heat the foil edges and that seems a very permanent solution.
  22. I,ve just been told my tv license needs renewing today with dire consequences if I don,t do it, as I.m 80 I think it is quite safe to ignore it!
  23. Prime is very good for returns and under guarantee items as well as some very good series ie.The Man in the High Castle to name just one.
  24. I think it must be realised that anything electrical or mechanical is subject to failure at any time,even f1 cars go wrong and they cost millions!
