David Ashby - Moderator
I see the multi-blade props from E-scale are in now. Very useful for smaller'ish scale leccy models, warbirds in particular. Link. Previously only seen with their 40" P-47, but now available separately. Dusty
Saw them a couple of days ago! They look awesome! Wish there were some bigger sizes though!
Matt Halton
This is exactly what I have on my B-26 David (4 blades in my case)I had to buy mine from the USA last year, good to know they are easily 'gettable' here now! Great news!Matt
Chris Card
I do like those. Has anyone got a formula to work out what size multiblade prop will replace a 2 bladed prop so the motor load remains the same?
Matt Halton
Chris, you need a low kv motor for best results. What motor are you looking to try the prop on?
winchweight
Are they flying props or static?
David Ashby - Moderator
Very much for flying Shaun, this P-47 uses the four-blade one.
Tim Mackey
Yep, it flies the P47 with great authority.
Stephen Grigg
They look very good, are there any good looking props for I/C about?

What motor are you looking to try the prop on? No particular motor or plane in mind, I'm just interested for use on a future warbird electric conversion (which exists only as a vague notion of a project currently!). I reckon those props would look ace on such a plane.
Tim Mackey
I have one of these on the P47 and good as it is, I dont think I would like to push it much past 500watts or so max. The blades are quite thin and flexible, and its all plastic with no signs of carbon reinforcement etc.
scott cuppello
I tried these on a 2217-9 a year ago [imported from the US] and the power loss compared to a 2 blade APC was significant, basically, great on a small foamie.....as long as it's over powered. They look superb, the so called adjustable pitch was a bit dubious though.
