Hogster
Well it was a bit blustery on our site today and my circuits were a bit untidy but before we packed up my instructor reckoned it was time to try a take off. With knees a trembling I pushed the throttle forward and away it went. With two successful take offs I went home a happy bunny.
Chris Bott - Moderator
Well done Hogster, another small step towards going solo. We all remember these milestones and the great feeling of achievement that goes with them. Good times
birdy
Well done. Take off and landing are easier then all of the articals make it out to be. You'll be landing in no time - its just flying the thing slowly at low level.

Steve Houghton 1
Well done that man. Funnily enough I'm always more nervous about the take offs than the landings.
Biggles' Elder Brother - Moderator
Well done Hogster I'll always remember what my old instructor said to me when I was all excited after my first landing - "Its the most fun you can have with your clothes on"! A cert next? Go for it! BEB
Martin Harris - Moderator
Posted by Steve Houghton 1 on 06/07/2010 11:00:08:Well done that man. Funnily enough I'm always more nervous about the take offs than the landings. And you're right to be. As a wise man once said," Take-offs are optional, landings are compulsory."
