Phil 9
I liked the idea of a ww1 biplane as my next model and would like to hear some recomendations. The hangar 9 models look nice but I was hoping to find somthing a little cheeper

Biggles' Elder Brother - Moderator
I've done this trawl myself Phil. There is very little. There is Curtiss Jenny, a couple of small electrics, the JP and the Pheonix Tiger Moth (not WW1 of course but at least a biplane!) and that's about it! Personally I think there is a gap in the market here. It might be because the idea of a cheaper ARTF Bipe is a bit of a non-starter due to their inherent higher component count and complexity. Phil 9
there are some very nice WW1 models about but the good ones are expensive or you need to build your own. I was hoping to find something cheeper just to try out

Phil 9
Thanks BB but I had seen thoes but are all expensive models I was hoping to fins a cheeper model just to try things out and if I decided ww1 models were for me I would invest in something better. And Ken thet look simple enough to build but a ARTF was what I was looking for first
