Doug Ireland
Certainly doesn't seem to hurt much Danny At present I'm struggling to find a place for the AR600 Rx.

Steven Webb (Steve Webb Models)
What engine are you using Doug? Re Strongbow and Regal Kingsize. It could be a picture of my bench back in the 90's! I gave all that up and two or three years after living a 'healthy life' of no drinks and cigs, took very ill! So I'd say stick with it! Thanks for posting Steve
Doug Ireland
Hi Steve, I just hope my doctor doesn't see it or I'll be in for another lecture! Its an OS 15CV, apparently its got a bit more poke than the LA. Getting the pushrod close to the fuselage side to clear the tank was a bit of a pain though. Doug Ireland
That's all the electrics in, just need to box up the fuselage. One thing though, once the U/C plate is fitted I won't be able to get the battery out again. Please excuse my toes at the bottom of the picture!Edited By Doug Ireland on 16/04/2011 13:29:
Chris Bott - Moderator
That's tidy Doug, I like the tie wraps. Hadn't noticed the toes

Steven Webb (Steve Webb Models)
Posted by Doug Ireland on 14/04/2011 00:24:08: Hi Steve, I just hope my doctor doesn't see it or I'll be in for another lecture! Its an OS 15CV, apparently its got a bit more poke than the LA. Getting the pushrod close to the fuselage side to clear the tank was a bit of a pain though. I thought it looked like a OS CV or CZ or such. There's some whhhooomph...in that engine. I do approve. Reason why? It's still a 15 and 15 size and light. Yes its powerful, but we have a throttle. Fitting an LA 25 might provide similar power, but with a larger engine. It's not an engine that sells everyday, its heavier than a LA 15, but far more powerful ( from memory). 10 to 15% nitro and the a 9 x 4 or 8.5 x 4 prop and you should be able to go up out of your hand! ( depening on WebBIT weight!) Nice one, looking forward to hearing how it goes. Steve
