Colin Bernard
Caught the new Avios ad this evening - full of flying washing machines, BBQs, cassette players. At first I wasn't paying attention and just assumed CGI again - but the next time I saw it I noticed the exhaust smoke - and the swash plates - and yep, rotor heads. Good bit on YouTube about making the ad here ... Edited By Colin Bernard on 24/11/2011 23:20:
Wiltshire Flyer
Amazing stuff! They should have been stood behind screens for the tests though, more guts than me!
Cyclicscooby
I figured the mowers were real, and though un-thinkable, the washing machine has got smoke, but I would have sworn the 'radio' skipping over the water was CG.. How wrong I was.. !! Good to see people ACTUALLY doing stuff, and NOT CG'ing it.. And a Brit too.. Well Done chap.. Luv Chrisie.. xx

Wingman
Clever stuff - but it still amazes me to see people working with lathes and pillar drills without any kind of eye protection
Barryorbik
Its a good adverts and some of the camera angles were very cleverly chosen to 'loose' the tail rotors, either that or the 'paintshop pro' experts airbrushed them out. I love the washing machine pirouetting off into the sunset at the end. Barry
Seamus O'Leprosy
Very disappointing, no tick tocking.
Biggles' Elder Brother - Moderator
Great stuff. And with the short exception of him sitting on the tractor with his arms out, a piece of TV that doesn't try to make us look like sad geeky losers! A refreshing change BEB

Steve W-O
Very interesting, shows what can be done with some imagination. Also shows that many conventional designs are wasteful Soon wandered off on youtube, and found some good footage of the Rooivalk flying low.
