Pete B
Strange format to your post, Phil, but I've had a lot of fun with my old EPS E-Flite Sea Fury. They've now re-released it in EPO Definitely recommended. Pete
Garry Pollard
Extra 300 and Mini Pulse are the two that I fly on this size lipo Phil, but neither of them are 3D Must be one of the most popular size lipos on the market Garry
Reno Racer
I have one of these. They fly superbly and are really accurate, particulary in Knive Edge. They are well made, but you must put most of the electronics and Lipo back over the wing to get the CG. Not sure how much it will be to the UK, but $50 is £30 and it flys like my £300 petrol. Flys well on about 3-400 Watts and a 3S 2000-2200 Lipo and 4 mino servos. Uses a pull pull rudder! Best £30 i've every spent.

Pete B
Ah, just noticed you're looking for a 3d type, Phil - disregard my last! Pete
Phil 9
3d would be good failing that just a good sport model prefer a foamie for this one Edited By Phil B on 26/12/2011 16:20:
Devon Flyer
ST Models MX2 uses these battery packs. It's cheap and it's a foamie. Good sports/3D flyer and pretty robust. Less than a ton from HERE. Edited By Devon Flyer on 26/12/2011 16:31:
Bob Cotsford
If you want really cheap but a bit more work there's always the GWS Formosa or Formosa II. Once built though, they do fly well.

Paul Marsh
I mainly fly IC, but do like flying electric, But to keep it sane, most of me electric models use the same battery size and connectors, so most of the models can use the same batteries, keeping costs down and the batteries get used more. For 2200 mah 3s, my models that use them are: Park Zone Spitfire, corsair, T-28 Trojan, P-47 Thunderbolt. Others are St Models Cessna 337 and MX2, Ripmax Legends Mustang, Ripmax Wot 4e, YT Robin 2160. As you can see that covers a wide scope, the other electrics models are shock flyers, but also have a couple needing 3300 3s. Not gone to 4s and beyond, yet...
