fly boy3
Hi all I am currently connecting up a Corona RP4s1 Syn reciever. When connected ,I was informed to teach the ESC with regards to the throttle. I cannot find this info on the thread, wonder if someone could enlighten me again. CheersEdited By fly boy3 on 15/01/2012 11:48:
Biggles' Elder Brother - Moderator
Turn everything off (disconnect). Remove prop - (as me how I know that ) - Set throttle to fully open. Turn on Tx, reconnect everything at aeroplane. Lots of bleeps - when they stop move throttle to min. More bleeps. Turn everything off, disconnect. With throttle on min, turn all back on a gain and reconnect. You're throttle should now work normally. If more sophisticated programming beyond just setting the throttle is needed - e.g. setting brakes and timing etc. - you really need the instruction sheet. fly boy3
Hi Bebb, taught ESc as above post. Full control of motor from min. to max. Only thing motor does not start until thottle is near mid point. Have I taught it badly, ? or is it acceptable. fly boy3
Cheers lads, sorted at third time of trying. Another prob. now ,every thing working correctly, but no beeps when battery is connected. Can I call this a problem or a "whoopsy". Should have stuck with IC. PatMc
Might be a daft question but is the motor still connected to the ESC when there's no beeps ?
fly boy3
Yes Pat, as I say all is working correctly. Not tried a prop on it yet. Cheers
