Alan Cantwell
Anyone use these two schemes? basically, groupon buys --lets say, a years worth of restaraunt meals, and offer them at greatly reduced prices, a certain amount has to be taken up, then its GROUPON, i just got 5 years internet security with Panda 2012, which gets a better than my just run out AVG, 5 years protection, upgraded every year, is £100, groupons deal?? £9 !!!!!! Cash back is simple, you see what deals are on, and and if you shop there, you get cashback straight into your account, i am insured with AXA, with the car, i got back £40 from cashback, my wife is £170 pound up on the year, just through her normal shopping i wonder if 30.000 BMFA members could get a groupon deal with model bits??? Bob Cotsford
I have used Quidco for cash back, it certainly paid well for things like AA membership, house insurance and the like.
John Tee
First I heard of Groupon was last week on the local radio when 2 businesses were complaining that they had had a run on people claiming discounts and that they were losing too much money. One , a greengrocer was having to give up to 75% discounts which as everyone was claiming at the same time was nearly putting him out of business. The other was a restraunt with a similar story, so good for us but not for some companies. John
Alan Cantwell
if they set their prices too low for the offer, more fool them, Panda downloaded, and in operation, saved about 140quid there!!! jut considering a new coat, these are 200 quid, groupon price 50quid!!!!!
