Rob43 Posted May 30, 2012 Share Posted May 30, 2012 Hi, i'm currently learning to fly on a HZ supercub but i'm looking to progress to a 4ch .40 to'46 size trainer that is a traditional build. I'm in my forties now but when i was 14 i built plenty of trad balsa kits/trainers, ARTF was verynd far between and looking around now it seems that is all there is! Anyways, i enjoyed building/repairing my balsa planes and want to get back to building my own. There doesnt seem to be much choice as i say so can anyone recommend a nice easy slow flyer in traditional kit? I would favour larger wingspans, easier to see and hopefully more wind resistant! Ernie Posted May 30, 2012 Share Posted May 30, 2012 Hi Rob 43 I learned on a Flair Cub A trad build, with a built up wing or a foam/veneer option. Around 60 inch span. Easy to fly and repair.
