I saw this yesterday when I got some 'work trousers' - just the job for building and flying, working on the bike and other messy activities (no, we don't need the "then go electric" comments, thank yew). The padded shirts look good for the coming seasons too.

My question is, what is 2 part methyl-methacrylate and what benefit would it have over epoxy? Maybe I've usedit under some other name?

Isn't Methylmethacrylate the same stuff as Stablit Express?

If so 80g costs £17 when the Henkel label is attached to it. Fantastic stuff, shelf live about 10 years from memory, sticks most plastics to anything.

I was told it is used primarily by the medical profession for sticking replacement joints to bone? Even if true not relevant to my uses.

So I for one will be keeping an eye out for it.
