Reno Racer
All, I'm pleased to see the resurgence of the great flying 70s pattern aircraft, Phoenix 7, Bullet etc etc. I owned a TF Contender 60 a until last year (had to sell when moving back from US). I loved the plane, it was a really good pattern flyer and could land at only a few mph, with the big centre flap down. Anway, silly me. The kits for this and the Kaos were about £65 in the USA and i'm now kicking myself that i didn't stock up. Does anyone know where i can buy either a TF Contender or CNC parts for a KAOS within the UK/Europe? Chris
Bob Cotsford
Google says Phils Hobbies or SMC, either way it's about £100. I've dealt with Phil's - very good service but at £75 + PP you will most likely attract HMRC and the resultant kidnap tax from Parcelfarce. I have a feeling Tower Hobbies do a Kaos in a 40 size, or there's Bridi Kaos kit, again from the USA.
FlyinBrian
Not a Kaos or Kontender but of the same ilk. Ripmax distribute the Great Planes "Dirty Birdi" which is an excellent vintage style pattern model.
kc
Do you really need a kit or CNC parts for such simple models as a Kaos?

Reno Racer
In the end i bought a SIG Kougar Mk2; just about finished it, just now need PolyC/18g Fibreglassing and painting. Should fit th bill and looks similar in set up to a Kaos, but with a thicker wing like the Contender.
