RC
Final update in this post, I only came in to say hallo !My trainer took to the air yesterday, club instructer at the controls but still a very satisfying feelingSmall problem with the nose wheel giving right turn on taxiying(sic), although it ponts dead ahead ? nothing a little left hand bias won't sort out.Slightly larger problem, the instructor was putting it through it's paces, loops , rolls etc but realised as he was going to go inverted that the power was fading so came in and had to land deadstick perfect landing all the sameFound the small (brand new) fuel line between the needle valve and the carb had split. Maybe I had installed it a little too neat , (short, though it covered the nipples at both ends) ? Possibly beaten to death by the screw in the end of the fill pipe, although I would have thought that would have been pushed rearward in the airstream.I replaced the fuel line and the instructor altered a couple of the rates on the Tx, getting ready for flight 2 and hey presto a stonking great hail storm End of flying for the day. Right, we have put the clocks forward to Summertime, will someone please turn it on !
