Bob How
Ok guys finaly managed to upload some video (not very good I am afraid) however it flys and is still alive. We flew her at Ivanhoe Beacon the wind was pushing 15 gusting 25 and direction was NNW not W which of those that have flown there W gives a much bigger window. We had all control surfaces set as elevons and it proved to be a bit twichy so will set up with the aelerons and flaps seperate so the flaps act as elevators which will calm her down a bit. The Cof G was set at 524 which was not bad so we need to relocate the batteries rearward as we had 150g of lead up her back end. I also need to think about some balast system as she is qiute light for the surface area and will help with the higher winds. As you can see it seems to have a low drag and she picks up a lick of speed in the downwind leg. Here is the link to the video hope it works. http://youtu.be/dEDad6sDizA Bob PS Rez panel lines created with car pinstriping tape and hand painted with a brush. Ian Jones
Well done, looks great in the video, a bit floaty perhaps? Hope you don't mind Bob but here's a direct link to the video Ian
Andy Meade
Just found this Bob, great to see she's flown. The Pike WR is still going strong that I bought off you two last year - I take her everywhere with me! Hope to see you on the slopes sometime soon.
