Myron Beaumont
Never fancied a flying wing for one reason or another (prefer proper aeroplanes) but having seen videos of the Wildthings performance ,I thought-- I've got a box full of balsa wood & I'm surrounded by hills (& trees ) Can I build something just to have fun with out of traditional materials .In other words ,what is so special about it ? Wing section/weight/washout on its tips ?' Please tell me why it seems to be the ultimate design & so expensive for what it appears to be . Is there a plan for an oldie like me to enable me to have a load of fun ,bearing in mind I'll not be crashing onto rocks all the time

Simon Cunliffe
Hi Myron I'm going to build a Fiu some time soon. Not a Wildthing but a small (wingspan 74cm) flying wing. Plans available freely here! Simon PS Anyone built and flown one? Edited By Simon Cunliffe on 03/03/2013 14:02:24 Edited By Simon Cunliffe on 03/03/2013 14:04:
