Yes!!

We planned to use a Solo hub and blades but we dropped that plan and use other blades. It is also planned to use our own hub. I will post all info on the reduction and blades used, telemetrie etc after final test flying and by the launching to the public. All is in finishing stadium. Please stay tuned and thanks for the intrest!!

Hi Gerrit,

Have you done anything with shaft drives? I'm toying with the idea of one for the rear engine of an ESM Dornier 335. This has been done by a German kit manufacturer for a larger model of the same aircraft so it is possible. I'm looking for information on things like shaft couplings suitable for this sort of service but most of the outfits here are only used to industrial stuff, eg higher powers but much lower speeds. The shaft itself would need to be about 800 mm long, the engine would be a 120 four stroke.

Hi All,

as promissed we keep you posted

So here it goes

our reductions went on teststands and are fantastic:

Here is the list of engines for now

Kolm 65-100-135

ZDZ 80-90

DA 60 and later on 80

MVVS-Evolution 46 80

We also produce custom build

the reductions went all up in the air ....last engine was the ZDZ 80 unfortunately a transmitter brown out caused fatal crash of the giant Extra airframe and electronics....to our big estonishement after a cleanup of the engine and reduction and a new prop we put it on the teststand and it opperated flowlessly without any mechanical ore other intervention. Note the motor and gear were literally buried into the soil.

A new system Jeti DS 16 is on the way together wit all the electronics and telemetry the non reliable JR sytem was sold and all the electronic stuff was made redundant and is of now on a past.

So here a film of the ZDZ 90 after cleaning and restart on the teststand .
