Canopy Glue (Again!)

Hi Guys,

I have a Nine Eagles Syrunner as my fly around at work lunch break plane. The canopy has become detached from the foam block it is fastened to. The foam block locates really well on the fuselage with magnets. It looks like it was originally held on to the foam with 3 very thin double sided tape strips that have just given up the ghost. Any ideas please on the best way to fasten the canopy on the foam block? what type of glue will be best or can you recommend, or where can I get some new very thin double sided tape?

Many Thanks

You could cut double sided Sellotape to a narrow width if you get the type with a backing paper and pin it sticky side up to a board and use a scalpel. Maybe support a straightedge a bit above the sticky part if you need to guide the scalpel.

I found double sided tape was great for fixing flat glazing to cabin sides. I installed it an early stage of construction and left the backing on until after the model was covered.
