Sir John
I have just read Alex Whittaker's Weekenders - Column, and he has mentioned some helping gagits called "Picador Jacking Blox". Does anyone know where I can purchase these? For any help what so ever, many thanks in advance. Sir John.

Old Geezer
I spent a happy half hour searching the net - not a sniff !
kc
Millhill Supplies used to list them in their catalogue but they seem to have moved and changed.. You might find some on e-bay or at one of the tool stands at the Model Engineering shows. I dont think these are really worth buying for aeromodelling but only for milling machine work. A few chunky pieces of steel or even ply or hardwood would equal these for balsa work ( different if you are milling or drilling metal where safety comes into it ) A few 2 pence coins would adjust height in small increments, a big bag of coins makes a good weight anyway. Lots of engineers tools are more useful to us, I particularly like an angle plate ( cheap not high precision ) for setting right angles and various chunks of steel about 1/2 inch or an inch thick.for weights. . kc
They don't look like genuine Picador to me. Millhill catalogue shows them as a big & little one for 6.25 a pair ( 4 pieces ) and the genuine ones have Picador England cast into them. Martin Harris - Moderator
It does appear to be the manufacturer's site - better get 'em while you can at that price... Edited By Martin Harris on 12/04/2013 13:36:
