GrahamC Posted April 15, 2013 Share Posted April 15, 2013 My Puppeteer is getting close to finished, and I have been looking around for a Pilot, but have not seen anything that looks quite right to me. So... I thought to myself.... The Puppeteer is about 1:6 ish so that would make a 6 foot pilot one foot high.... the size of an action figure. After a bit of hunting around I found a head on ebay for a couple of quid and decided to try an make myself a pilot bust with a turnig head.... The first thing was to glue the head onto a carbon shaft... And then to carve a torso from pink foam... A lick of paint And then... A bit of cutting, some hot glue gunning etc and..... Looks a bit spooky doesn't it? Here is the bust so far. I need to make some goggles, a helmet and find him a scarf but it works well. I'll try and pop up a video when he is in his office!
