Hi guys

I have acquired a T tail sailplane 114 inches wingspan green transparent canopy.

Possibly sold by Solent Sailplanes in the 1980s. Possibly a Multiplex model

There is a plug in mechanical arrangement at the fuselage for driving trailing edge air brakes.

Any thoughts on what this model is called.

The T consists of two removable halves and is driven mechanically by a servo at the front of the all glass fibre fuse.

Yes Simon, a picture is worth a thousand words.

Unfortunately my old brain has not yet mastered these clever modern technologies.

I need to study the "how to" which is kindly supplied else where in these forums and see if I can work it out.

I have got as far as the photo and it has uploaded onto my laptop so that is some kind of progress.

Right Simon

Thank you for the photo loading tutorial

There's the pic of my Multiplex mystery sailplane from the 1980s

The wings plug in to two steel rods on a slight dihedral. No flat strip as some other models aparently had.

Any ideas on which model please. 114 inches (old money) 2.9meters.

Hi Russ

Thanks for the sole response.

Following your on from suggestion, I have hunted around Google and I do believe you are correct. Well done and thank you for that.

Most of what I have seen seems to be in German, but I will try to find some further enlightenment in English.
