Bearair
Slightly tongue in cheek question, but if you set the camera up, pre focus, exposure, etc. you then fly the model to the position you want, but someone else operates the button. Who "took" the photo?! Edited By Bearair on 27/08/2013 11:34:
Greybeard
In photographic circles he who trips the shutter is the photographer, for example a professional photographer may have several assistants setting up the camera but the photographer will always step forward to operate the shutter. Codename-John
The person pressing the button innit, without that, there is no photo taken
Bearair
The reason I asked was that during a conversation with a prof artist I was amazed to hear that it's not always the "artist" who paints the whole of a picture.
Ernie
There's not a lot of skill in hitting a button, in fact none at all. There is however a huge amount of skill in working with light, understanding composition, controlling aperture, shutter, etc. Leonardo da Vinci had a shedfull of assistants, who knows what he actually painted? ernie
Masher
If the picture turns out good, you took it but if it doesn't...................
Miketgd
Or to put it another way - who ate all the pies?
