WolstonFlyer
Oh yes, a quick web search brings up some very interesting and colourful forum discussions. I had never heard of them until now when I searched for wire wheels.
Dylan Reynolds LaserCraft Services
Yes some very unsavoury discussions about him, but if he treats people like that, what can he expect? Anyway thats not for here. Talking of forums, it looks like RCMF has been hacked and is down

Vecchio Austriaco
Like how you do it, by screwing the bits to the base you can cut the parts out completely. This machinery is a great help. VA

Dylan Reynolds LaserCraft Services
Not sure I can do that, I don't know how Linds or MyHobbyStore would view that, since its Linds design and hobbystore sell the original plan and laser kit, but you never know! Phil Winks
what weight do you expect this one to come to This motor is only really good for 165W you really need to be looking at something that will handle a 4S pack and run at an Amperage that will give you that 100W/lb figure that models of this genre fly best at ( at the risk of teaching one to suck eggs Amps x Volts = Watts but don't use the max volts of a pack for a 3s use 10/11V and a 4s pack 13.5/14V) Try looking at motors that are approx 48mm dia as a starting point though you may find a 35mm item thast will do the job Phil Edited By Phil Winks on 07/06/2014 21:02:

Phil Winks
Posted by Percy Verance on 07/06/2014 21:16:30: Something like this perhaps Dylan? **LINK** Or for that little extra, maybe this.... **LINK** Edited By Percy Verance on 07/06/2014 21:19:06 A touch over the top I think Percy potentially the bigger motor will pull a 21lb model aloft my guess from Dylans comments is at worst it'll be a 6lb model lets wait till he's got an idea of the airframes final weight then a more accurate computation can be done factoring in hardware and battery weight to give a good idea of what's needed, though the first 2 may not be to far out Edited By Phil Winks on 07/06/2014 21:26:09 Edited By Phil Winks on 07/06/2014 21:26:
