simon burch
Peter, Great looking model. Never did get round to drawing up a twin of your low winger..........guess I don't need to now. Got a pair of ASP 32 four strokes ready for this. Everyone should own a twin. Simon
Jimbo565
Peter I have a pair of SC25s available, what are your thoughts regarding enlargement of the airframe for the two 25s ? JIm
Peter Miller
Jim. I think I would increase the size to about 63" span. perhaps 650 to 700 sq inches area.

Jimbo565
Peter Just been looking over the plan and the write up,regarding the dihedral, plans says 1" and write up says 2" ! Jim
Peter Miller
Hi Jim. I think that you will find that the plan says 1" under each tip while the text tell you to prop up one wing by 2" while the other is flat on the board. This will give you 1" under each tip. Lone_Wolf
I really like the look of this model and I'm going to build one for sure. This will be my first build from plan model as I've been looking for something inspiring and this is it. Carl....

Jimbo565
Peter Has Slec got the wing rib plan for Oodalally on file? I sent them an email asking for a price for the Tigercub ribs and they want me to send the plan before they can give me price, forgot to mention its the same as Oodalally. Peter Miller
Yes SLEC does have the ribs for Oodalally which are the same with the exception of the holes for the paper tube for the throttle leads.

simon burch
Is anyone else building one of these? Plan shows 8swg wire for undercarriage legs which is roughly 4mm diameter, but this looks pretty beefy compared to the wire legs shown on the plan? Cheers, Simon
Peter Miller
Trust me. If you will regret it if you use thinner wire. And don't go by what the plan looks like. Go by the specification on the plan Someone who shall remain nameless got mixed up with some strange chart and used 3mm wire on another of my designs. Then he complainbed bitterly that the undercarriage would fold up and the spats punched holes in the wings. All was well when he used 8SWG wire to replace the thinner legs You will be amazed at just how distorted even 8 SWG undercarriages can get in anything less than a perfect landing. simon burch
That's good news as I've already bought the wire and drilled the mounts to suit. Onto the wings !! Simon
Peter Miller
That looks very neat. And a disgustingly clean wrok area!!! Or even work area!!! Edited By Peter Miller on 04/08/2014 18:32:
