Jimbo565
Peter Got a nice pair of brown shorts as well I would have to remove 15s from a couple on airframes so the alternative was the 2 x SC25s, First flight could be interesting I'll keep you posted JIm

simon burch
Could always go with some three bladed props. Will keep the motor loaded but not as efficient. Personally I would go for the high speed option.
cymaz
As it's a twin engine plane, I'm sure you've come across this before

cymaz
I've been flying a Seagull Dual Ace for several years.I have followed the advice from the bloke on RCWarbirds. Very wise words and all true!!!!!!!
simon burch
Blimey, reading that it's not surprising you don't see more twins.
cymaz
Yes, I know, but if you are really fussy with your engines ( clean fuel, not running lean and careful set up ),they should stay reliable. But flying a twin is a real thrill.
Peter Miller
Obviously the man has never flown a Grumpy Tigercub when it comes to one engine out. Actually one of the easiest to fly twin that I have flown.
Mowerman
I have built Peter's American Nightmare twin, converted to electric and it flew very well. first flight was by one of the club 'aces 'and he was favorably impressed . I had agood flight myself but found the landing speed a bit high so tried to incorporate flaperons. The next flight ending in a full power loop into the ground. Peter Miller
Mowerman. Just to make you feel better I will tell you about the demise on my American Nightmare after quite a lot of flying. I had the throttle cut switch set on the trainer switch on my Futaba Field force 8. This is right at the back on the top right of the tx. Coming in to land I wanted to cut the engines as the model would keep flying on tick over. I reached with my right forefiger for the throttle cut switch and managed to apply full down elevator at about three feet above the ground. The throttle cut switch is now ALWAYS on the left side of the Tx.

Stephen Lynch
Have built the Tigercub with 2x 200watt 1100kv motors, cut a foam wing and covered it with white card. It flies a treat but had to put 140 g of lead in the nose block. Also used 9g servos, no problems so far, had about 10 flights.
