Martian
coming together nicely ,perhaps the Auster can be used to piggy back the Lanc to height

Tony Bennett
we finally have a basic fuselage. i still need to sort out the forward, aft and mid upper gun turrets, finish the opening bomb doors and fit the cockpit. I have cut all the wing ribs today and can start the outer wing panels tomorrow. i need to order the phenolic tubes for the wing fixing before i build the inner sections. still it is progressing. Tony Bennett
well back on this after a weekend of shackleton nosing. started building the second outer wing panel. also sticking the shear webbing into the first one. when my wing tubes turn up, i can get the inner wing panels built up and we can have a trial fit. Dave Miller
Would it be best to use a retract servo so that there would not be an electrical load in the closed position?
Tony Bennett
thanks for all the ideas chaps. i now need to work out thee best one to use.
Tony Bennett
we have wings, top sheeted only. need to fit motors next and then sort out the wing mountings.
Tony Bennett
wing tubes going in a nice stressful job, but they are in and drying. next job is to cut the wings off and glue the tubes into the wings. then i can fill the gaps between the wing and fuselage and think about motors. Colin Leighfield
That is looking really good Tony, particularly viewed from Ocean Drive, Miami! Can't do any building here though and it's very frustrating.

Colin Leighfield
I have to confess, it is some compensation.
Tony Bennett
Wings are all sheeted. ailerons made just blending in the nacelles and then i can do some more, yes more sanding. The retracts in the wing are not the ones i am using, they are just a broken set i use to line up the supports.
