Michael Wright
As the title suggests, how do I fit my carb onto my engine?. New in the box the carb was in a separate bag? This is my first look at an IC engine for many, many years! kind regards Mike
John Privett
What engine is it Mike? Most 2-strokes are fairly straight-forward, it's just the method of retaining the carb that varies a bit between different makes.

Stevo
Loosen off, but do not remove, the pinch bolt on the carb inlet. Insert the carb, and make sure it seats on the O ring properly. Tighten up the pinch bolt... job done.... Edited By Stevo on 27/05/2014 18:30:
kc
It is quite easy to take a half moon shape chunk out of the carb if you tighten the bolt too much.......... just don't ask me how I know!
Michael Wright
Thanks for the method Stevo, ...and for the warning Kc!! Kind regards Mike
