this looks good to me.

I have an 85 year old friend who trained in this type of aircraft in Canada during WW2. He crash landed one when the engine cut, his tutor  ordered him to bail out , he stepped onto the wing and found his parachute harness loose so got back into the aircraft and they landed in a field!

He later crashed a Mustang 1 at RAF  Sealand  when on conversion and then was shot down in June 1944 surviving a crash into the river Seine. His name is Douglas Reich of number 2 Squadron's RAF and possibly the last of the squadron's survivors.

His photograph is in the book" Second to None". The story of number 2 Squadron.
