Dom (Essential RC)
Rarely seen this done well BUT I thought this was particularly well done. Lacked a little power but otherwise fun to watch it fly.
Andy Palmer
That is (was?) Cyril Carr's shuttle, I launched it for him once at the Southern Area electric fly-in at Winchester. Had to do an 'over head' launch which was a bit odd but it got away ok. I expect the bungee launch was a later addition. I can't remember any details but I'm pretty sure it was all depron. Gary Manuel
Very nice. I'm surprised it flies at all, as the full sized one was never designed for powered flight. It's a ground to air missile on the way out and a glider on the way back.
Dom (Essential RC)
Would be a show stopper with a K60 turbine at the back.
jeffrey mundell
On the outerzone.co.uk site there is plans for the Shuttle, this uses a ic engine as pusher but could be converted to a electric fan,i am going to download the drawings (as tiled config and need to be joined up) and look at the possibilites to build one. Peter Christy
Very nice! But it didn't make as big an impact as this one...... -- Pete
