Adrian Smith 1
This may be a dumb question, but are Ultracote paints and Oracover paints made by different companies as I have seen them mentioned in the same breath? I am looking for a UK supplier of Utracote?? paints, or paints that match Ultracote coverings. Any ideas? Thanks.

Adrian Smith 1
Thanks Cymaz. Hmmm…seems they are different then. I just can't find a UK seller of Ultracoat covering and paints unless I am missing something.
Gordon Tarling
Ultracoat is the US name for Oracover - one and the same thing. I don't know of any stockist of the paints in the UK. Oracover is hard enough to find on its own! You could try ordering from Hollein in Germany, as they seem to stock it, but I'm not sure what the international postage situation is regarding cans of paint. Alternatively, email Oracover themselves directly and ask for stockists in the UK.
Tomtom39
Hello Adrian, I have just bought some Oracover paint plus thinner .J Perkins are the distributors for this . I suspect that a lot of LMS will only special order these as they are not cheap . A tin of approx 125ml and thinners to suit came to over £24.It might be an idea for you to contact Horizon in the UK to see if they can order some for you (I dealt with John Norris there some years ago and he was of great help)
Martyn K
The paints are available from SMC - will do mail order, but they are not cheap! Martyn
