Ray Mcdermid
Hi New on here but been a flier for many years. I have a Moki 135 engine which had a prang with a seagul at the weekend. The carb Spray bar snapped off at the banjo joint ,,,, I think the Spray bar part no. is 10.135/55. After many hours on Google the spray bar seems as hard as finding snow in the Gobi desert. Anyone know of a stockist of Moki spares, or does anyone have a complete spray bar they can sell me. Cheers (planeless Ray)
Martin Harris - Moderator
I assume you've tried here? Luckily, snow is far from unknown over the higher ground in the Gobi so you may get lucky!
Alan Gorham_
Martin, I think that is the wrong Moki range. There are two brands of engine called Moki. The Moki 135, 180 and 210 are single cylinder glows made in Hungary, while the one you linked to are larger spark/petrols made in Germany. Just Engines used to distribute the glow Mokis in the UK, but your nearest supplier Ray might be Topmodel in France: **LINK**

Bob Cotsford
Pe Reivers passed away in 2013. Pe was also a source of MVVS spares and knew these engines inside out. Another sad loss for the model world.
Ray Mcdermid
All I know is it is a Moki 135 and it says Hungary on the casting,,,, had this for years and except for the odd glow plug it has been a reliable workhorse.

Ray Mcdermid
Tried all of the suggested sites so far with no luck, but thanks for the efforts, someone must know where I can get spares or buy a spray bar, I would even buy a knackered engine just for to get the bar. My scratch build biplane (Gromit) had it's nose extensively rebuilt to take the Moki and Pitts Exhaust, even had a specialist cowl made because of the larger engine, too much work (and money spent) to put it back to the old underpowered diesel I originally had in it. So fingers crossed Cheers Ray

Shame there does not seem to be anyone advertising these or try Moki direct? http://www.mokiengine.com/ Hope you have luck, great engines these. Cheers Nige. onetenor
There is a Dutch guy who has a spot on think U Tube and shows off his collection of engines and makes replacement parts as needed to repair them. I cannot recall his name but if you look for model engine collectors you should find a link to him
Ray Mcdermid
Got an email this mornng from Moki engines. On their website it states the part is no longer available, I left an email asking them if they knew of any stockists that might still have spares, or do they have a compatible carb to fit. Got an answer this morning, the new Moki M180 spraybar fits my 135, but have to take it complete with needle jet as the bore is different, 18 euros the lot with postage (Almost£13), so no rip offs with these guys. So I have just paid for it through PayPal, along with a nice new chrome sports exhaust that should look nice on my old biplane ordered a dozen glow plugs as for some reasons Moki make the best quality (barred) plugs that love to run wet (Moki designed to run on the wet side) So thanks a load chaps, I will soon be hollering chucks away once more. Will stick photos up when my wing damage has been repaired (at least the seagull had one helleva headache) plus prove my experiment with gyros, she would never have landed without having them fitted. Cheers Chaps Ray
