Mike T
Hi all, Several years ago I was recommended (and bought) the UNI-T UT203 clamp meter. A friend now wants one - is there a more up to date recommendation, or is the UT203 still the best spec/value?
Denis Watkins
Still the best Mike But like all products, get it from a reputable seller

Martin Harris - Moderator
I bought one from Maplins a couple of years ago - the first one failed very quickly but the replacement has been fine. There are better makes around but these seem decent value for money if the failure was an isolated incident...whichever make/model you buy, just make sure that you check you're buying a clamp meter with DC current measuring capability as many only measure AC current.
