Andy.I
I have a peculiar problem viewing the classified ads and I wonder if anybody can advise me please? I click on "CLASSIFIEDS" in the top bar and I see the classifieds. Then, when I click on any of the links under "Accessories"; "Almost ready to fly kits"; "Engines and Motors"; Plan built Projects" etc all I see is a blank screen with a single lit pixel in the middle. For example, if I select "Gliders and motor gliders I see the following URL: http://www.modelflying.co.uk/forums/new_thread.asp?t=68 Each different link goes to a different URL (the numbers on the end change) but the blank screen is the same in every case. Can anybody explain what's going on and more importantly, how to fix this please? Thanks in advance!
Pete B
Just had a look and all seems to be working normally for me, Andy. Can I suggest you try clearing your browser's cache and trying again? That can resolve a lot of glitches. Pete
Andy.I
I've tried clearing cache and history to no avail. However, I've just discovered that it's related to Firefox because if I paste the URL into Internet Explorer it shows correctly.
Denis Watkins
You got it now Andy Firefox is quite aggressive with protection, and updates quite frequently If you seldom use this browser, then switch on more frequently to auto update If you are a heavy user, then it should be up to date, then in settings maybe set it to moderate So as it does not over protect you In tandem with service provider lock downs, there is quite a weight of protection on opening some pages IT buffs will have the technical explaination
Pete B
I'm on Firefox so it's not a generic issue with it. If others highlight the same issue, I'll pass it on to the techies. Pete
