Aah,  Balsacraft where are you now......

I'm afraid that Balsacraft kits went west some time ago.

You can still pick them up second hand, but they now attract higher prices than they originally sold for.

You might be able to find an original plan from which (I think) you could build one, but you'll need a healthy dose of bloody mindedness as these were not your usual slab-sided box, but rather a cunning confection of formers, curved sheet and doublers that built into quite a respectable representation of FW190, Bearcat, Spitfire, Beaufighter etc.

If you're keen to build from balsa, a plan might be your best bet - or a Jim Ryan kit.

SLEC do a catalogue.

They also do the best and cheapest balsa available and really do select the grades that you ask for. They also sell many of their items such as horns, clevis etc in bulk packs which is a great saving to builders.

Delivery is superfast too.

Get the catalogue and phone your order. You will not be sorry.

All my models are built with SLEC balsa and you know how many I produce!!!
