Garry Pollard Posted August 12, 2008 Share Posted August 12, 2008 HiBeing a self confessed people watcher, I often when reading threads flick to the persons profile to see how old they are, where they live etc. Sad isnt it , I used to be a train spotter as well. To continue , it ammazes me the number of people who either fill in one line or mostly nothing at all. I know it is not compusery but surely when the page is there it would not hurt to fill it in and please nosey folk like myself. Well we've discussed it a lot and naturally there's no obligation to fill in a profile however I think it's common sense if you're seeking information as respondents can guage from your profile as to whether you're serious about the subject and in doing so may be more tempted to provide a longer reply.
