trebor
Can anyone tell me what the bracket for the neck strap to latch onto is made of as it looks like plastic to me ? Ps Still thinking about it, was going for the silver one but the light grey back might get grubby after a while so it could be the carbon black look now. Devcon1
Hi trebor, Just looked at mine and it looks and feels like an anodised aluminium type material to me. I have an Amber X10 which looks great but horses for courses.
Geoff S
Yes, my X10 Horus is also the so-called Amber colour scheme and, as it happens to be on my desk charging, I just checked and it's certainly not plastic - probably, as Devcon says, anodised aluminium and quite substantial. As I use the Frsky tray designed for the X9D Taranis I've never used the strap bracket. Geoff
trebor
Would it pay me to get a instruction manual for Open tx for this X10 as I have one for X9d+ ? Are the menus any different or can I work through it the same ?
Masher
No need to purchase, it's free here Complete and very well written by someone who posts on this forum

Tim Morton
Great info I want to change from my Futuba 8FG and am interested in the X10. I was wondering about ergonomics. Being a thumbs flyer how easy is it to access switches? Thanks
SONNY MONKS
Hi,The x10,or the x10s? ive been reading up on frsky, there starting to grow on me,although i am contemplating on buying the new jeti DS12 When its released!!
Geoff S
The X10 suits me perfectly. I think the only difference is the gimbals which are better on the S than the normal X10 but I doubt if I could tell the difference. Better fliers than I (and they are legion!) may well find the better gimbals an advantage. I've transferred all my models from my Taranis to the Horus with few problems.
