foam for a tool box

I am looking for some foam to make some tool holders in a tool box. There is plenty high density closed cell foam available but it seem to be expensive for what it is

here is an example f:0">http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Shadow-Foam-Sheet-Britool-Draper-Blue-Tool-Box-Organisation-Motor-Racing/222907830005?hash=item33e6578ef5:m:m4hvRYgWPnertqF6LWl9j6g:rk:1f:0

can anyone suggest a cheaper alternative or maybe I can order the same material under a different name?

Depending on how much you need, you could try your local electrical retailer.

If like ours they unpack stuff they deliver then a lot of it comes with decent high density foam pieces

(as well as the normal polystyrene stuff) They will just dispose of it so you can get some off them and cut/glue it together to suit.
