Simon Chaddock
It does look like this week end would have been a bit of a wash out. Next week end should be a bit better. I'll be there!

Malcolm Fisher
Fingers crossed for better weather next weekend. Judging by the weather here in Leeds today, I am not really sorry that I had to stay at home today - not really keen on camping or flying when it's chucking it down. Paul Marsh
Yeah, hopefully see you next weekend. At least the caravan and car's packed, and the fridge is on, so case of hooking and going... planes in the other car, just the batts and tx's removed. Foxfan
Our event has been cancelled as the track to the field is too wet. Constant drizzel for two days will do it. Hope invited flyers were not too inconvenienced, but then...this IS good ol' Blighty. Martin
Paul Marsh
Is that including next weekend? Probably is, give out rain all this week, so no chance at all of any flying going on.Im on holiday, bored, sitting here watching loads of Blu-Ray films and not been flying for over a month. I think I need another hobby - seriously thinking of giving up, or at least putting model flying on a hiatus for a few years... Maybe next year... Paul Marsh
Ok, decided to go, the car and caravan were 90% packed anyway. put a different model in to test fly. Chris can't go as he'd had another event planned...

Simon Chaddock
If its ok I will come as planned on Saturday - lightest wind forecast.. None of my planes are exactly heavy (hint) so as long as I can get on to the car park no problem carrying them to the field. They can all be hand launched as well so as long as the field is not actually under water they can fly..

Malcolm Fisher
I thoroughly enjoyed the weekend despite putting two models into the "jungles". Fortunately both were recovered - in one case entirely due to the help of Erica with her "eye in the sky" showing me where my plane was. A bonus for me is that my wife also enjoyed the weekend and is prepared to come again if we can next year. Her enjoyment is mostly in being able to use our ancient caravan but she did enjoy talking to many of the people there. We both want to give a big THANK YOU to all at the club - including visitors - for the friendship and help given to two OAPs.
