Neil Rothwell 1
Putting servos in a schwing, KST 125MG in the wing (not HV) and Savox SH-255 for elevator and rudder. Both types of servos are rated at 6V with Savox saying they will take up to 6.7V load and 7.4V no load. Want to run these off a 5 cell 2/3AF pack so 6V nominal, but we all know it will be higher. Any experience on this set up or even running a 6.6v LiFe pack?
John Lee
I've run 4 KST135MG, which I think is the same as the 125 with just a different gear ratio, in the wing of my Mini Vector for several years on 5cell NiMh with absolutely no problems. Afraid I have no experience of the Savox.

Martin McIntosh
The only servos I have come across in recent years which will not operate on 6V are JR 591`s. My older set-ups still use 5 cell NiMh ( a must on 2.4) but all new stuff uses 6.6V LiFe, single on small models and dual via a 5.9V Failover regulator switch on the rest. Mainly Savox/Hitech/Corona servos.
