Amy flygirl
I know I'm relativly new to this forum but would love to chat to a few girl flyers here.
David Davis
We have three female trainees at our club, indeed the lady in this picture is our club secretary. Unfortunately my club is in the middle of France so communication might be difficult. We were once visited by a group of mayors from throughout the department. The "Mayor of Mayors" turned out to be this lady. I gave her a go on the Junior 60. Edited By David Davis on 23/11/2019 06:54:

Peter Christy
There's a few in the helicopter world. Indeed, I think there was a picture of one flying at the Nats in the last-but-one RCM&E. -- Pete
Peter Miller
And then we have Monz on the forum. A young lady who can really build the most fantastic planes. See her scale rubber powered Avro Shackleton, a true, mind blowing work of art that flies like a dream. https://www.modelflying.co.uk/forums/postings.asp?th=99464 Edited By Peter Miller on 23/11/2019 08:44:
Amy flygirl
I used to be an examiner some years ago but being out of the hobby dealing with children it has now lapsed. So new and old models plus a new shed I'm looking forward to that aim again.
Don Fry
Amy, are you the Amy I remember on the show circuit, nailing a year on my memory is difficult, but about 18 years seems right, and Woodspring the location. She flew a very pink, large (for then)aerobatic machine. I built a pink machine just to confirm it would be easy to see in flight.

Don Fry
This was very pink. Rather than white with a bit of a wash. I have fancied such a Spitfire, but as you say, might disappear in a haze.

Amy flygirl
Unfortunately Don I wasn't that girl, although I was on the show scene but more helping out with my dad who was in the woodwings flying circus.
