Hi, i have a DX8e & i can't get the menu button to scroll past Main screen & Servo set up.IE: when i roll the thumb wheel it just goes back & forth between these two item's on the menu. I tried an up date & this seemed to load ok, but made no difference. Its almost like i have locked it. Any ideas. Thanks

Probably a silly answer as I don't use Spektrum but I do program a few for beginners. I don't recognise the menus you're referring to. What happens if you select Main Screen - does this take you to the normal menu? Perhaps you've locked yourself into a sub menu?

I assume you're entering Set-up via the roller button pressed while powering up method?

The final drive on the thumb wheel Christopher is about a 1mm cross section and made of plastic !

Mine rounded off, and luckily there where metal pivot wheel replacements.

The board holding the assembly is easily removed held by 1 screw

I think your right about a faulty roller wheel. If i very lightly touch it, it starts chattering, & the menu is trying to change. Any suggestions on where i might get a replacement roller wheels. ??

This will teach me to buy secondhand. lol. It seem like its an upgrade to fit an ally wheel, as the plastic one is common fault to ware out, so i will try this 1st. The cheapest one i could find was an ally one on ebay @ £10 inc p@p. Its a shame that hobby king discontinued it as it was only £4.00. Knowing my luck, it will be the roller board. lol

Thanks for the help.
