Matthew Lloyd
Those lab gloves are just weird - I'm not sure I want to 'feel' THAT much! These look good:http://www.blacks.co.uk/Sticky-Thicky-Gloves/product/011722.aspx?searchbreadcrumbs=gloves

Matthew Lloyd
That kind of makes sense Phil, but don't wet suits work because your body heats up a thin layer of water which keep you warm - or sometihng like that?We may hate gloves but if wearing them means a little longer on the hill then that's surely worth it! On my scale of 'excellent methods of time-wasting', flying planes comes at the top, just ahead of kite flying and sand castle making! How come we don't see women wasting time in this way? Matthew Lloyd
Best bet is to give them a try then. The gloves, that is, not the repeats.

Matthew Lloyd
A lady colleague has just put on a pair of black leather (Kid leather I think) gloves that look like a good possibility - thin enough, tight fitting and lined to keep them warm. Just need to find some to fit my set of stubby sausages!
Matthew Lloyd
Just been up on the Mynd - excellent conditions for the WT. Stopped in Church Stretton at an outdoor shop - 'Beyond Extreme' - and bought two pairs of gloves:Outdoor Designs silk liner gloves £7 the pair, plusRab Power Stretch layering gloves, £15 the pair The two combine to make my sausages very toasty and yet still thin enough for 'feel'. Bit tricky launching a slippery tape covered foamy though - but I may stick a couple of inner tube patches either side of the fuz to get around this.
