AndyD
for me the only design ive made more than once is my version of the acro wot,and ive made that in lots of different sizes
AndyD
well its got the looks I was after but I think I will go for a tiger moth type cowl as it will be easiser to fit and I thick the radial might have cooling issues as theres only 1/8 inch round the motor. Peter Miller
The other problem with radials is that a nose over can remove cylinders

AndyD
made another one to pass the time, this one I could actually use but I shall wait until the build gets under way before I make my mind up on it.i cut down the cylinders and made the hub bigger. AndyD
as I am still waiting for my balsa to arrive I I got itchy fingers to day and decided to convert my ballerina speedster to electric,it was my last glow engine plane so unfortunately the last year it didn't get flown very often but now with the bipe will make a nice days flying. Simon Chaddock
Oh! no. All this talk of biplane Ballerina with a radial engine has set me thinking........ My 'little' Ballerina is a 'one piece' thing so it would be no bigger as a biplane just taller and it already has a dummy radial engine. AndyD
my balsa arrived yesterday so I thought I better make a start even though ive used some of the wood for other things already but should have enough to make a reasonable start. AndyD
as I don't like making wings I thought I better leave the fuz and get on with the wings,so far so good,
Gary Clark 1
You certainly work fast Andy! Looking very tidy as well. I'm quite excited to see this one. Gary
Peter Miller
I see that you use adifferent sequence tomy usual one. Interesting
Geoff S
I assume the swept back top wing has no dihedral? It also looks like it's in 3 parts with a centre section and 2 outers. How are they joined? As the others have said, you certainly work quickly and it looks great. Geoff
Peter Miller
I see a built up tailplane as well.
AndyD
yea no dihedral in the top wing,i made the wing all in one go ,firstly making the spliced spars and building as normal, the top and bottom sheeting go past the splices so will be strong enough and will have hard wood blocks let into the bottom to fix the struts, all a bit backward but its all in my head and not on paper until I know things work.
