Ailerons Set Up

I have 3 models with full wing airleons and two with airleons only half wing set up on the outer edges. I am finding that the latter two are very sensitive to inputs and having to tweek them down a lot . Does anybody else notice this ??

The ailerons will be more effective outboard as their effect will have more mechanical advantage and they have a deeper chord than strip ailerons making them more efficient as they will work better as camber changing devices.

Mind you, I've never had a model with "airleons"! I keep meaning to make a list of the different spellings used for these devices!

Basically no, I have an Seagull Maxi-lift, Astro Hog, Bucker Jungmeister, and Sopwith Camel with outboard ailerons and none of them are over sensitive.

Personally, for 'safety' I do the maiden and a couple of other flights with 'high' dual rates set to 100% and 'low' dual rates set to 60%. When happy with the overall 'travels' I set the low dual rates to 100% also. That way it doesn't matter how the rate switches are set as from then on they do nothing.
