DIGGER
Has anyone got this model, if so would you be able to do a scale drawing of the motor mount for me, as I need to see if it's the same one as the Parkzone FW190. They look the same,it's the size. Chris
Denis Watkins
Chris If this is mount, could you make one ? It looks like flat aluminium plate
DIGGER
Thanks Denis, I could if I had the tools and equipment. I have a chance to buy one but I didn't want to if it's the wrong size, Chris

DIGGER
That's what I'm looking at, but with the postage to Cyprus, which has is a normal ebay rip off £21.41 for a small item that can go in a jiffy bag for about £2. This is why I need to be sure it's the right one. Then I can try another route to get it. Can someone trace round it or measure it for me. Please. brokenenglish
It's easy to make this shape of mount, to your own dimensions. I cut and drill 1/8" paxolin sheet.

perttime
Agreed that a piece of 3mm birch ply, or similar would do it. Needs a drill and a cutting tool. And a way to measure or draw a pattern to get the holes right. When working with primitive tools, 1.5mm plywood is easier to work with. Make it out of one layer of 1.5mm, glue that to another piece, and then cut the second piece to shape. still needs a drill, though.
DIGGER
Hi guys, thanks for your comments, but here in Cyprus we don't have the luxury of model shops, and there isn't a call for rc stuff or decent lite ply, I have found a book shop that carries a small amount od balsa, which is good quality and cheaper than UK. We have to send for everything, I wanted some plastic card, none here and the price to get it here, no way. What I'm trying to say is, it's not just tools it's materials as well. That's why I wanted to know the about the Artizan motor mount, if it's the same. Stay safe. Chris
perttime
Something like plywood doesn't have to come from a model shop. Crafts or construction materials stores might well have it - or something that also works. ... when I need foam, I go to a construction materials store.
