PeterF
I used it over Humbrol enamel once, it went on well over the Humbrol without any issue. However, in service it was less than stellar, the paint / Poly-C was affected, softening and wrinkling and then rubbing off. This was with 10% fully synthetic fuel on RCV-60SP engines, the RCV SP engines were very wet engines in my experience, not sure if this had anything to do with the softening. Glenn Philbrick
Have used Poly C over painted models on numerous occasions, mainly Flair paints the results are Ok and it has not effected the paint but it does get better the longer you can leave it before getting fuel on it and make sure you wipe as much as possible off at the end. It does make the paint slightly yellow if the paint is light coloured. I use 10 nitro so it is a good indication of how effective it can be.
