Ian Whittaker
Quite some time ago I had the pleasure of flying a (sadly now departed) friend’s Precision Aerobics Addiction, and enjoyed it massively. I’m now after something similar, and find that sadly they’re no longer available. many suggestions as to a alternative please? I’m after about 50-60”, electric, and able to do decent aerobatics - mainly slow speed 3D, stupidly manoeuvrable stuff. I had a few Panic biplanes and a Hype, and would have another one of either tomorrow were they available ARTF and electric ready. (The Panics were powered by a SC90 2stroke, the Hype was similarly sufficiently powered. I hate underpowered planes!) For information I’m after electric purely due to constraints on time / days for IC at my favoured club. I do have 6s 5000 mAh packs to hand for my helicopter, but appreciate they may be unsuitable so would need to purchase a couple of different packs for this. Gary Manuel
Ian. WestonUK still sell the Hype and Mini Hype. edit - or do they? It looks like they are rebuilding their website, so may not have added everything yet. Worth ringing them though. Cougar looks to be available if not the Hype. Nigel R
Ripmax Bolero would seem to fit the bill. 6S5000mAh might work in that?

Bob Cotsford
Posted by Nigel R on 12/12/2020 22:01:19: Ripmax Bolero would seem to fit the bill. 6S5000mAh might work in that? it would, if you can find one in stock. I used 4000mAh 6S in mine but there's plenty of room for a 5000 and plenty of wing area to carry the weight.
SIMON CRAGG
I have just purchased a Hobbyking Voltageur. Running on a 60c 4s 2200. 4250-800kv motor and 13x4 wide APC prop. 80a ESC Having tried most of the popular "3D" models over the years, this is up there with the best.
