PAUL HUTCHINSON 2
Hi guys Can anyone recommend a good delta wing that flies well and runs on brushless/lipo. I'm looking for a new building project that can be built from plans that are comercially available. Many Thanks Paul
Bob Cotsford
A Peter Russell 362 or the larger 363 would be easy to convert for electric depending on what size model you are looking for.
kc
You could buy copies of the 363 or 362 from Sarik or download a copy from Outerzone together with the article. There are probably many other delta designs there if you look through
eflightray
Hi Paul Assuming you like electric power --- Try a search on the Polaris Seaplane Parkflier, there are a few similar styles out there, one commercial model is the Northstar. It's easier to build, simple, has the motor on the fin, so can take-off and land on water, grass, snow etc. I built one, great fun. Ray. Piers Bowlan
The North Star plan and article is available on Outerzone too. An E-conversion works well with this design as you can avoid having to add lead in the nose, as you do with the IC version, by locating the LiPo well forward. Flies great too. David Davis
A bloke at my old club fitted an electric motor to a Peter Russell 363. 4S LiPo. it flew well and was easy to see being so large.
