Tom Major
Hi folks. Recently I bought some Mylar hinge strip to accommodate my current build. I am wondering however, is it not gonna fail after a short while? I mean it will be bending a lot so would expect some fatigue to set in? What are your experiences with it? J D 8
One of my favoured hinge methods along with pin type hinge and for vintage type clothe horse cloth hinge. I like to pin Mylar ones with a bit of cocktail stick and they do work for years. Fluffy Mylar are supposed to stick well but have not used them . Nigel R
I use the pre cut mylar hinges, my favourite type. Rough up the surface. Stick with canopy glue. I've never pinned them, never had a failure.
